Background:
Kempsford School is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled co-educational school for day pupils aged four to 11. The school aims to provide a broad and balanced curriculum. A wide range of activities takes place during lunchtimes and after-school throughout the year, providing the children with opportunities to pursue interests and broaden their horizons. Activities include a variety of sports, along with music, arts, computing, country dancing, drama and environmental work. A variety of physical experiences are provided for the children through the national curriculum programme and extra-curricular activities. The school has a hall and playground on site as well as a playing field opposite. Children have the opportunity to take part in competitive sport with other local schools. The school provides a caring and stimulating environment where its children can acquire skills and knowledge appropriate to his or her needs.
