Founded in 1875 in rural location in Cotswolds; experienced staff, supported by all parents. French taught throughout the school. Wide range of extra-curricular activities, including many sports, art, and Spanish. Music plays important role, with 40 per cent of Key Stage 2 pupils. Sporting success in soccer, netball, athletics, and cross-country; represented at national swimming gala in 2006. Pupils leave to go to any of 10 different secondary schools. After-school care, until 5.45pm. Over-subscribed, with 1.4 applications per place. International School award. Basic Skills Quality Mark; DfES achievement award.
