Background:
The school was built in 1872, with a school house added in 1878. A new hall was built in 2001 and builders are currently remodelling the old hall into a dedicated room for the early years group. When the building is finished the foundation stage children will be educated together in one of the first foundation stage units in the county. Music, drama and sport play a big part in the life of the school and children enter festivals and take part in various performances. The school'seeks to promote a welcoming and caring environment where each individual is valued.
