Background:
The school has a new building, which opened in November 1999 on a lovely site near the centre of the village. The gates to the site were built as part of an arts grant that also provided us with a unique carved reception desk, a stained glass window in our hall and a leaf patterned carpet. The building includes a purpose built library and extra workroom. The grounds include a quiet area, adventure playground and extensive playing fields with a sectioned wildlife area. It has acquired resources through the project to develop the use of ICT within Art. Recent donations have enabled the school to purchase interactive whiteboards, new books for the library and outside equipment for the Foundation Stage. The school offers wide range of extra-curricular activities, which include: football, netball, choirs, table tennis, cricket, recorders and hockey.
