Background:

Founded in 1842, Miserden CofE Primary is now housed in Cotswold stone buildings built in 1914. Surrounded by 'rolling park and countryside' in the village of Miserden, the school is set in grounds with its own nature area, playing field and two climbing frames. Children and teachers take part in an annual exchange to Holland and an extended visit to the Isle of Wight. Flute, violin and guitar are taught in school and pupils may pursue their musical interests with extra-curricular recorder, flute and violin playing. Sports are catered for with football, netball, rounders, gymnastics and cross country clubs and The School Council meets after school.
