Background:
Lakefield Church of England Primary School was opened in September 2000. It is a one-form entry school for pupils' aged four to 11. School currently has 181 pupils' on roll. The school'serves the communities in the five villages of the Severnside Group of Parishes, namely Arlingham, Framilode, Frampton on Severn, Fretherne and Saul. In January 2002 it moved into a brand new purpose built accommodation comprising 7 classrooms, a hall, an ICT suite and administration areas. A range of extra-curricular activities is available for the pupils' either during lunch hour or after school. The activities offered may vary from term to term so that pupils' can sample a range of opportunities and experiences. Activites that may be available includes: football, netball, art, school band, choir, drama, musical instruments (piano, trumpet, clarinet, recorder etc), games club, nature club and geography club.
