Naunton Park Primary School has a tradition of providing a lively and stimulating education that encourages close links with the local community and a clear commitment to high standards. The aim of the school is to provide a lively and broad based education for its pupils, which will stimulate a lasting enthusiasm for learning. The school has a well-equipped computer suite with internet access. In addition it has laser printers, scanners, digital cameras and a daylight projector for whole group teaching. Naunton Park has a strong musical tradition. The children's understanding and enjoyment of music, is developed through activities that bring together elements of performing, composing, listening and appraising. A wide range of activities is available, usually after school but sometimes during lunch breaks. The following list is indicative of the type of activities on offer at various times of year: football, netball, tag-rugby, rounders, athletics, cross-country, dance, drama, recorders, choir, orchestra and environmental clubs. The school aims to cater for the needs of all children, enabling them to reach their potential within a caring, secure and stimulating school environment.
