Background:
The school was established in January 2001 as the result of an amalgamation of Monkscroft Junior and Infant Schools. It is situated in the St Mark's district of Cheltenham. The buildings of the former infant school have been refurbished and provide an attractive learning environment for the whole school. The school curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, information and communication technology, history, geography, art, physical education, physical education, music, design technology. In addition to the national curriculum the school offers a wide range of after-school activities including dance, football, art and craft, cooking, gymnastics and netball. The school aims to provide the pupils with a wide range of relevant experiences to develop their confidence, raise their self-esteem and achieve their full potential.
