Background:
Joys Green Primary School was opened in 1883. There are two classrooms both with interactive whiteboards and a library. A recent addition is the large ICT suite, which has ten networked computers. The school has a large hall, which is used for eating lunches in addition to the usual activities. It also has two large playgrounds. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. The school endeavours to provide every child with an appropriately matched programme of learning that will develop their own knowledge and understanding.
