Background:

One of the oldest schools in Cheltenham, Holy Trinity is 'an inner town school with a village school atmosphere'. It occupies a Victorian building with nmany modern improvements and additions, most recently a seventh classroom and new library. Facilities include a grass area and a tarmac prayground. The school offers extra-curricular clubs such as French, chess, art, greenfingers, sports, orchestra, recorder and country dancing. It has a 'good reputation' for art and its 'very strong' orchestra performs in and outside school. The sports club is growing stronger and matches are arranged with other schools. Children support charities, both local such as Winston's Wish and national such as Red Nose Day and Children in Need. Breakfast and after-school clubs are available.
