Background:
St Dominic's Catholic Primary School was founded in 1884. As well as a strong focus on the core subjects, each term the school focuses on a foundation subject and holds history, geography and art days. There is a high ratio of adults to pupils with many parent helpers. It has links with the community and welcome guests and share activities example the parish/school fete. The school runs many after-school clubs with a focus on sports, music and dance. The school has a family atmosphere built on respect for all. All pupils are treated as individuals.
